These remain valid for 3-d reality, EXCEPT for living systems which create order (or complexity).

They are:

• The First Law states that energy can neither be created nor distroyed
• The Second Law states that entropy (disorder) never decreases.

Claimed exceptions to these laws have been around for centuries and are known as Perpetual Motion Machines, but none has yet stood the test of time

EXCEPT that:

• Living systems do create order, that is what life is.
• It may be possible to channel energy from a higher level to a lower, but to quote a friend "it takes a lot of energy"!

The Gotcha in most schemes for alternative energy  generation and distribution is the need for storage:

• to act as a short term or real time buffer equalising supply and demand
• medium term supply whilst the Sun is down, the wind gone away or whatever
• to provide a portable source of power for transport, tractors and so on?  What use is you farm if you need a tractor to work it and there is no oil?

People have been working on improved batteries for generations, and perhaps there hase been a two fold improvement over simple car batteries. Prospects are good, eg for hydrogen fuel cells for storage, but the problem remains on a larger scale.

Another example is the generation of methane from bio mass, which cam be done, but you really need to be able to compress the gas and store it in specialised high pressure containers - illegal in Italy and some other countries.

Well, so much for the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

It turns out with a modicum of research on the Internet that there is a well established scientific field of “New Energy”, going back to the 1980’s. There are different flavours, to be described later, and what looks like solid scientific proof (although not accepted as such by “mainstream” science.)

There are three alternative approaches you can take:

• Traditional Science
• The New Science
• Mystical and intuitive insights.

Traditional Scientists

Traditional scientists are those who are sticking to the traditional interpretation of the Second Law of Thermodynamics, in spite of the evidence to the contrary.

The New Science

Many Scientists are applying the Scientific Method to the new discoveries, and wish to remain within the paradim of the Scientific Method as such with repeatable experiments, measurable outcomes, peer review etc

Properly applied this has thrown up a wealth of scientific evidence of machines producing energy at close to zero cost.

These can be classified according to the Infinite Energy Magazine FAQ as:

• Hydrogen, Cold Fusion or Low Energy Nuclear Reactions LENR),
• Vacuum Energy
• Environmental Energy.

There are a multiple theoretical models, often contradictory, attempting to explain these phenomena objectively.

There is a thread of practical and mathematical theory behind Etheric Physics, from Tesla through William Reich and more recently Beardon. This has long been taboo to traditional science.

The Mystical Approach

Others take a more mystical approach, based on channelled information and maybe direct contact with the “Akashic Records”.

These purport to show how “New Electricity” was the basis of the Atlantean civilisation, and indeed its misuse was said to have triggered the collapse of Atlantis.

An example is the Matthew Lewin material, comprising hundreds of channelled pages. Many are happy with channelled information provided the source can be checked out subjectively using intuition or other inner guidance.

Resolution

Funnily enough there is a substantial overlap between the New Scientists and the Mystics.

The implications of the New Energy as described in the above FQA for domestic, low scale local sources compatible with current appliances but obviating the need for the National Grid are almost word for word the same as in the Matthew Lewin material.

In this respect the new scientists are catching up on old esoteric knowledge, but they are ahead on provable repeatable machines that work.

Mostly these three groups do not talk to each other.
